What REJA24 is

REJA24 is Poland's digital register for recreational vessels up to 24 metres — sailboats, motorboats, jet skis and houseboats. You do not need to be a Polish citizen or live in Poland to register a vessel in it. What you do need is documentation in Polish and an address in Poland for correspondence with the register. That is exactly what we provide.

01

Handled remotely

You send documents electronically and receive the originals by post. No travel to Poland at any point.

02

Translations included

Sworn translation of up to 3 pages of your documentation into Polish, included in the price.

03

A Polish address

Our office in Gdynia serves as your correspondence address for the register, and forwards what arrives.

04

Worldwide shipping

Your certificate is sent by registered mail to your address, wherever you are. No extra charge.

Pricing

What it costs

Every price below includes VAT — the amount you see is the amount you pay. Translations and shipping are in it too. Pay up front for a new registration and 50 € comes off.

Straight answer

Why this costs more than our Polish price

If you compare this page with our Polish-language pricing, you will find a difference. We would rather explain it than have you wonder. It is not a foreigner surcharge — it is four pieces of work a Polish client simply does not need.

01

Sworn translations

Every document you send us has to be translated into Polish by a sworn translator before it reaches the register. Up to 3 pages are included in the price.

02

A Polish address that stays current

The law requires a permanent address in Poland for the entry in REJA24, and the register writes in Polish to that address. Our office in Gdynia is that address — kept up to date with the register for as long as you own the vessel — and we forward everything that arrives.

03

We act for you in Poland

Polish offices work in Polish, in Polish hours, and some matters are still settled in person. We file, follow up and collect on your behalf, so nothing waits for a trip you would otherwise have to make.

04

One contact, and legal cover included

You deal with the same person from the first question onwards, in English. If a harbour master, an inspection at sea or a foreign authority queries your registration, first legal representation is part of what you already paid for — its scope is set out in our terms of legal assistance.

A Polish owner walks into this process with a Polish address, Polish documents and the ability to read the register's letters. If that describes you, use our Polish-language service instead — it is the same team and the lower price is the right one for you.

How it works

Four steps, none of them in Poland

01

Tell us about your boat

Send us a short message about your vessel and where you live. We reply within 24 hours with an exact list of what we need from you.

02

Send your documents

Photograph or scan your paperwork and email it to us. We check it, tell you what is missing, and have everything translated into Polish.

03

We file the application

We submit the application in REJA24 on your behalf and handle all correspondence with the register — in Polish, from our office in Poland.

04

You receive your documents

The registration certificate is sent to your address by registered mail, anywhere in the world. Shipping is included in the price.

Documents

What we need from you

This is the usual set. Once you describe your vessel we send you an exact list — some cases need less, a few need more.

Purchase agreement or invoice
Photos of the engine nameplates
Photo of the hull identification number (if applicable)
CE declaration of conformity (if applicable)
Copy of the owner's ID — name, date of birth and document number only

Photographs taken with a phone are fine, as long as everything is legible.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

No. REJA24 is open to owners living anywhere. What Polish law requires is a permanent address in Poland attached to the entry — and that is one of the things you are buying here. Our office in Gdynia is that address, registered against your vessel and kept current for as long as you own it.

We do, and only we. Once you engage us, our office is the single point of contact between you and the register. Letters, queries, requests for one more document — they arrive at our address, in Polish, and we answer them. You are told what happened and what it means, not handed a form in a language you do not read.

No, and this is the part most people do not think to ask about. The address stays ours for as long as you own the vessel. If the register writes two years from now — a change in the rules, a question about your entry, something that needs confirming — it still reaches us and we still act on it. That is part of what you already paid for, not a new engagement.

You contact the same person you have dealt with all along, and first legal representation is included in what you paid — its scope is set out in our terms of legal assistance. We will not pretend to know how any given official will decide. What we can say is that you will not be answering a Polish authority alone, in Polish, from another country.

REJA24 is the Polish register for recreational vessels up to 24 metres — sailboats, motorboats, jet skis and houseboats.

A temporary registration certificate is normally issued within 7–10 business days of a complete application. An MMSI number and radio licence take longer, usually between 2 and 8 weeks, because they are issued by a separate authority.

No. The whole process is handled remotely — you send documents electronically and receive the originals by post. Where a matter has to be settled in person at a Polish office, we go instead of you.

In English, with the same person from your first question onwards. All correspondence with the Polish register is in Polish and that side is ours to handle, including sworn translation of your documents.

Because you are buying something a Polish owner does not need. They already have an address in Poland, read the letters that arrive and file documents that need no translation. You are buying a permanent Polish address kept current in the register, one contact who stands between you and the authorities for as long as you own the boat, sworn translations, and legal representation if your registration is ever questioned. The lower price does not include any of that — it is a different service, not a discount you are being denied.
